Thérèse Plummer, a prolific and talented narrator, gives a heartfelt performance, adeptly portraying Piper with a light, youthful but determined voice. In addition, her gravelly voiced Dad, tender-voiced Mom, and hunky-sounding FBI agent love interes, are each distinct and recognizable, as are the story’s potential suspects.
