Katherine of Aragon is best known for having been Henry VIII’s first scorned queen; her sister Juana is largely remembered only as “Juana la Loca,” or “Juana the Mad.” But there’s more to these daughters of Spain’s legendary Queen Isabella of Castille than meets the eye. Author Julia Fox weaves together Katherine's and Juana’s historical significance. Rosalyn Landor’s fine enunciation and regal tone fit the stories of these sixteenth-century queens beautifully. Yet Landor’s narration is straightforward enough that the shifting story details remain clear. SISTER QUEENS is both a fascinating history and a well-produced audiobook.
