This audiobook delivers an overview of the life of Charles Dickens. The writing is graceful, compact and non-biased. Richard Derrington reads in a pleasant voice; it is clearly British but not difficult for American ears. This would be a fine tool for the teacher seeking to introduce students to Dickens and his world, but it does its job painlessly enough to be of general interest, as well.
