This spooky fantasy from Australia for older kids concerns a youth whose dream and waking lives converge when he finds himself custodian and protector of a magic child. Like Robert Browning's elusive poem, THE DARK TOWER, which inspired this book, the details are mystical and confusing, though the thrust is a clear and conventional battle between good and evil.
