COROMANDEL SEA CHANGE

Coromandel Island, off the coast of India, is an idyllic honeymoon paradise for Blaise and Mary. But it becomes a hotbed of mystery and intrigue when Mary is attracted to Krishna, a local religious martyr. The subsequent deception results in a shocking and unexpected tragedy. A brilliant array of native voices, accents and dialects characterizes the masterful reading by Sam Dastor. His narration is so letter-perfect and believable that it almost becomes a distraction to this mesmerizing tale of degradation and violence. This is a good selection for the audio format.
