The brain is a complex organ so underused that the average person uses only a miniscule percentage of its power. Michael Gelb describes in detail the working mechanisms of the brain and compares its potential to that of a supercomputer. Although intelligent, articulate and a great participant in "brain power" self-actualization, Gelb is a terrible bore. It's nearly impossible to absorb the scientific facts and simulations introduced in any one sitting. Add to this a bland and monotonous performance, and the result is a short attention span.
