GUNS OF THE MOUNTAIN MAN

Jack Garrett's rich baritone adds fervor to Johnstone's graphic story of murder and revenge in the mountains of the American West. Smoke Jensen, cattle-rancher and gunslinger, treats his ranch hands as family, and when Lazarus Cain injures one fatally, Smoke is bent on putting him in jail. The characters are mainly cowboys; many are greedy thieves, but Garrett finds unique, rugged voices for all. His impeccable reading leaves no quaint Western euphemism unturned.
