Max Lucado effectively reads his inspirational book about the process God uses to create Christ-like qualities in a Christian's life. His earnest enthusiasm for this topic comes through clearly. He draws upon many personal illustrations and makes them interesting with his gift of storytelling. The production compares a person's life to three types of tools: One can be without purpose or living for self, a concept that is illustrated by being part of a broken pile of tools. Or one can be "on the anvil," with a heart for God. Or, finally, one can be used as an instrument to bring glory to God.
