LARRY BOND'S FIRST TEAM

FIRST TEAM is a geopolitical potboiler of the first order. Scott Brick embodies a large cast, ranging from Government bureaucrats to tough Special Forces and CIA operatives, laconic Chechens, and more. What could be a formulaic bore is instead a taut, intelligent, and timely thriller. Nominally a race to catch Muslim fanatics and their flying dirty bomb, the story explores the psyches, motivations, locale, gear, and circumstances of that dangerous game with the trained eye of a mercenary.
