CIRCLE OF GRACE

Four college girls who met in a philosophy class have bonded together and moved into a small house off campus. After graduation, they promise to keep in touch through a circle journal, which will circulate among them. Kimberly Farr narrates the differences in the young women's lives and their peculiarities of livelihood. She tells their stories matter-of-factly--without any drama at all. Farr has a soothing voice and tries for different accents, but she’s not caught up in the story. Thus, it projects a sameness of sound that begins to grate as the predictable climaxes take shape.
