EVENING NEWS

A timely novel that adds fuel to the debate regarding the risks to children from handguns, EVENING NEWS explores the family upheaval that results when a young boy plays with a neighbor's gun. Barbara Caruso's understated performance allows each listener to approach and relate to the characters and events in his or her own way. She brings the listener into the complex and intense emotions of the characters without sentimentalizing or becoming maudlin.
