FALLING

Many falls occur in this action thriller--falls out of the sky, off a cliff, out of a boat, even falling for a lie. Kelly, a renegade FBI agent, finds and paralyzes the notorious killer "Acid Man"--or does she? Matt Connor dies in an airplane accident--or does he? Kelly tracks Matt and falls for him--or does she? FALLING is full of challenging characters for the narrator: the vicious "Acid Man," his emphysema-stricken father, the emotionally fragile Kelly, Matt's whiny and manipulative girlfriend, for example. William Dufris handles these opportunities well. Fast-paced conversations requiring quick vocal switches are no problem for him; neither are tense scenes in which he picks up the tempo.
