With ease, Scott Brick assumes the role of Dr. Nate McCormick, former medical detective for the Centers for Disease Control. Brick's vocal tones and cadence reflect the tension in a story of biotechnology gone bad, kidnapping, and murder. His understated delivery takes listeners on an adrenaline-charged ride as McCormick must figure out why women's faces inexplicably break out with ugly, life-threatening tumors after they have cosmetic surgery. Brick's delivery sustains the story's suspense, and his subtle accents bring the characters to life. Keeping listeners guessing, Brick's performance lives up to the title.
