Narrator Terry Rose not only channels an excellent Finnish accent, which is saying something, he also performs a mean Alaskan Inuit accent. One of the joys of the mystery is its obscure settings: Prince of Wales Island in Alaska, Copenhagen, and Estonia. Scott writes about those places and its people with authority. Chad Hunter is the inventor of a powerful rifle that can cause massive damage from great distances, but his invention is dwarfed by a satellite weapons system that could give one unscrupulous man the power to rule the world.
