PUBLIC SPEAKING FOR DUMMIES

by | Read by Malcolm Kushner

Personal Growth • 1.5 hrs. • Abridged • © 1998

Following the tradition of the "Dummies" books, this one describes the basics of successful public speaking. Kushner is a famous speaker who has taught all ages his method of persuasive speaking. Already known for his speaking voice, Kushner made a good decision to read his own book even though he has a heavy New York/New Jersey accent. Unfortunately, he sounds like he is breaking one of his own rules, obviously reading from a script. Although he has appropriate humor and inflections, he still sounds overrehearsed. Despite the stiffness, this production will definitely inform dummies on how to make speeches. A.G.H. ©AudioFile, Portland, Maine [Published: APR/MAY 99]
