With a strong voice and an excellent pace, Petrocelli, the attorney for the Goldman family in the Simpson civil trial, reads this blow-by-blow account of that trial with the fervor of an advocate and a social activist combined. That is, Petrocelli presents the suit as addressing a grievous wrong against the Goldman family, as well as serving the cause of justice. At times, Petrocelli's reading is too emphatic and presents this well-publicized case as more important than it was. It is, however, an informative and well-produced audiobook on the phenomenon of the Simpson trial. M.L.C. © AudioFile 2001, Portland, Maine [Published: FEB/MAR 01]
