RING FOR JEEVES

As the age of manservants comes to an end in Britain, Bertie Wooster is away learning to darn his own socks, and Jeeves must seek alternative employment. Narrator Martin Jarvis is a master at Wodehousian mayhem. His winking enthusiasm and creation of a cast of distinct and silly characters perfectly fit the spirit of the story. Jeeves is still unflappable and stoic. His new employer, the broke Lord Rowcester, who is earning a living as a bookie, is a stammering fool. Gruff-voiced Captain Bigger, who is on the hunt for Rowcester, is a hilarious throwback to a colonial explorer.
