Coles has compiled portraits of world, national, and local leaders, in addition to everyday heroes such as teachers and parents, who have exhibited moral behavior. Harry Goz is a wonderful choice to narrate this book. He has a reassuring voice that amplifies Coles's points without spilling into moralizing. He lets the stories speak for themselves by presenting the information in a straightforward manner. Goz's voice is easy to follow, and his diction and pacing are excellent.
