THREAT VECTOR

by | Read by Adams Morgan

Mystery & Suspense • 18 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2000

This novel is a poor choice as a audiobook. The technical information about submarines, weaponry, and naval warfare makes up a significant portion of the book, and it just doesn’t translate well to the audio format. This is particularly evident when the reader has to describe the blueprint of a submarine that is provided in the book. Add to this a boring narration. Adams Morgan reads in an affected, clipped style that is flat and unemotional, and the unvarying tempo becomes monotonous. Even the action scenes are boring.
