Welcome to Tease!

tease blogAudioFile’s new “Tease” is all about audiobook romance. Each post will share reviews of romance audiobooks–along with a list of additional recommendations. As a librarian, an audiophile, and a firm believer in HEA–romance lingo for “happily ever after”–I’ll recommend a wide variety of romances.  I ♥ hearing from romance listeners. Caitlin is a librarian from Connecticut who enjoys great narrators and happy endings. She attended library school at the University of Illinois Champagne-Urbana and also has earned a Graduate Diamond Degree from the Gemological Institute of America. She has worked at the Derby Neck Library, the Darien Library, and currently serves as a Youth Services Librarian at the Stratford Library. She helped to co-found national “Take Your Child to the Library Day” which is annually the first Saturday in February. In the winter you can find her volunteering at the IRS’ VITA free tax assistance program where she loves to discuss deductions and adjustments with her colleagues.

She has been reviewing audiobooks for Audiofile Magazine since 2006, and she has had the privilege of judging numerous Audie Award categories since 2009. Her favorite authors are Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer, and whatever she’s listening to right now!
