Famous for his bestselling fictions set against a historical backdrop, Steven Pressfield is forced here to go light on the history and heavy on the drama. From their religion to their hairstyles and weaponry, these warrioresses are both plausible and engrossing. "Narrated by various narrators." That's what it says on the box. Since each reader must play many characters, the relay does little to enhance the production. Since all have excellent voices, nothing is lost. Why not just list them?
