WISDOM OF THE CEO

Though written before 9/11, the insights in this program have a global view that is still very current. The audio consists of thoughtful lessons from a collection of CEOs who include Klaus Schwab, James J. Shiro, Timothy Koogle, C. Michael Armstrong, Esther Dyson, Niall W.A. FitzGerald, and Michael Dell. Dell’s piece on hypergrowth alone is worth the price of admission. As a group, the pieces are urbane and far-reaching works that have an academic aura but are still well grounded in the practicalities of leadership today. Kudos to the top-of-his-game reader, Grover Gardner, and to the publisher for creating a deeply fascinating lesson on managing in the new world order.
