The well-known founder of modern negotiating theory and practice is an attorney with many books and audios on the subject. Nierenberg's speaking style sounds corny at first, but as the program progresses, the depth and practicality of his wisdom make the reason for his status abundantly clear. He fleshes out his teaching with examples of adversarial negotiations, as well as the preferred win-win scenarios. Additional and uncredited voice talent breaks up the author's colloquial speaking style which, on balance, makes him sound charming and knowledgeable. For legal and real estate conflicts in particular, this is an excellent audio to study before negotiating anything. T.W.
