CAUGHT IN THE FLAMES

Narrator Savannah Peachwood brings a strong performance to a contemporary romance that isn't on par with her skill. Callie Gordon can't get enough of the local firemen and when she falls instantly in love with the captain, it seems like everything is turning up roses. But when everything falls apart, Callie will learn that real love doesn't always happen with a bang. Peachwood's soft delivery and ability to imbue male characters with gruff tones make this story bearable by bringing the few lovable characters to life. Her little laughs and tonal variations will help listeners cross the finish line--but only if their love of Peachwood's performance can get past the source material.
