BOB DYLAN A Tribute

This historical patchwork of the life of modern bard Bob Dylan (aka Robert Zimmerman of Minnesota) provides a lively and colorful journey from the artist's earliest days to the present. Geoffrey Giuliano's friendly persona makes this a warm and personable listen, even if you're not a big fan of Dylan. Interviews with a 25-year-old Bob are contrasted with a more current chat, and we find that certain things remain true: Dylan's irascible personality, absurdist humor, and passion for making music as close to his inscrutable vision as possible. Giuliano supports the interviews with abundant anecdotal and confirmed history, both public and private, as we follow Dylan's progression from blazing new phenomenon to award-winning grizzled veteran.
