OUT OF ORDER

OUT OF ORDER crackles with energy and has more plot turns than a whirligig. In broad strokes: A young lawyer who is not who she seems is shocked when her newlywed husband publicly announces he's running for office without consulting her first. (The problem: She has secrets.) Various politicians and PR folks whose motives are not what they seem get involved. The son of one powerful pol is kidnapped, but that's not what it seems either. Barbara Rosenblat has the gift of reading with passion no matter how farfetched things get, and she makes you care about what happens next, whether you believe any of it or not.
