STACEY STONE: COOKING UP TROUBLE

When Stacey Stone doles out some bad advice in her agony aunt column in the school newspaper, she finds herself in a world of trouble. Kate Sachs reads from Stacey's first-person perspective with a lively British accent, producing convincing voices for all the major characters. Stacey is all energy; her arch nemesis, Nan, has a high, flirty voice; and sensible Ed speaks at a slower pace. The sound quality is somewhat hollow, but listeners will ignore that and empathize with Stacey as she tries to rescue her reputation, figure out if Ed fancies her, and bring good food back to the student body.
