SHOULD I FALL

With his flawless pacing, Paul Woodson's excellent narration is the perfect match for this engaging listen. The second book in the Austin Grant series brings back the retired Scotland Yard detective; his daughter, Rachel; and her fiancé, NYPD Officer John Frankel. When Frankel's ex-wife is found murdered in his apartment just weeks before his wedding to Rachel, Grant heads to New York to help prove his innocence. With a wide variety of supporting characters and vividly described locations and interactions, Woodson pulls listeners in and keeps them riveted. Although this is the second book in the series, the story provides more than enough context and background to make it thoroughly enjoyable as a stand-alone listen.
