In this spiritual thriller, Dylan Foster, Texas psychology professor, grapples with the unknown when she encounters a pale, scarred man. Tari Riggs's youthful, even delivery enhances Dylan's wry humor and gives a light tone to a serious subject. Riggs portrays biblical ideas without preaching by narrating them as integral to the plot. A years-old mystery, a mysterious suite in the Vendome, two inexplicable suicides, demon mischief, and spiritual warfare bring this fast-paced thriller to a satisfying conclusion.
