MR WOLF AND THE THREE BEARS

Mr. Wolf and his grandmother are having the Three Bears over for lunch to celebrate Little Bear's birthday. They work hard to prepare something special for each bear. Brian Bowles's singsong British voice complements the musical bridges. His various voices for Goldilocks and the other main characters add to the listener's pleasure--except when he drops his voice so low that it's difficult to follow the story during the middle of the production. This peppy takeoff on classic stories includes references to Web sites and cooking channels, as well as actual recipes--although some listeners will have to convert from grams.
