REMEMBER

Although this story is the second installment in The Redemption series, enough background information about the characters and story line is revealed to allow new listeners to jump right in. The focus is on Ashley Baxter, a single mother who is struggling with a new job in a nursing home and her feelings for an old friend. Sandra Burr expresses the duality of Ashley's nature, portraying her as confident in her work but guarded and uncertain when she encounters Landon Blake, a firefighter who has loved her since they were children. Sandra Burr highlights every emotion superbly--in particular, the heart-wrenching scenes of Alzheimer's patients experiencing states of confusion and fear.
