DEATH DANCE

There aren't many female readers who can credibly replicate a man's voice. Veteran Barbara Rosenblat is among the few who can do it and do it well. Her expertise at male voices is apparent in the latest Alexandra Cooper thriller. Assistant DA Cooper is called upon to investigate the death of a Russian ballerina at the Met. Detective Mike Chapman, suspect Joe Berk, Indian Doctor Salim Sangor, and a moronic judge that Alex comes before have distinctive but very different male voices. All four are the product of Rosenblat's versatility. Needless to say, she makes Alex Cooper an appropriately charming but no-nonsense DA.
