Lindsay Boxer and her associates at the San Francisco Police Department have their hands full with a string of mysterious child kidnappings. Meanwhile, Lindsay and her tight-knit friends from the Women's Murder Club are devastated as one of their own fights for her life after being shot. Carolyn McCormick voices Lindsay with authority and sensitivity, portraying a competent police professional with a complicated personal life. McCormick nimbly depicts a wide range of characters, from a madman controlled by voices to Lindsay's gruff but caring former partner, who is now her boss.
