THE OBAMA NATION

by | Read by Jerome R. Corsi

Contemporary Culture • 7 hrs. • Abridged • © 2008

With a stilted rhythm, Corsi provides a dreary narration for his book. This comes in part from his contentious nitpicking of small, often irrelevant and weak points about Obama's inability to lead, which is especially tedious in the wake of his overwhelming victory. The poor performance also comes from the conviction in his voice as he teases out a loose tapestry of "factoids," with each declaration seeming to be a great pronouncement, even when it’s a simple bit of confusion—often easily explained—about Obama's history and record. From the coauthor that "swift-boated" Kerry in 2004, one would expect little less and shouldn't expect much more from this production.
