SUICIDE INTENDED

This mystery features the apparent suicide of an 18-year-old student who turns out to have been a drug dealer, a blackmailer (of pedophiles and homosexuals)--and a murder victim rather than a suicide. Chief Inspector Merlin Parry and his staff of the South Wales CID investigate. In this complex story, each of the investigators is a fully developed character, interesting in his or her own right. Narrator Siôn Probert is either a native Welshman or a master of Welsh speech patterns. The listener may experience some difficulty understanding some of the accents early on. But the accents and speech patterns become more familiar and soothing as the tale unfolds. We come to recognize each of the voices. Listeners are amply rewarded.
