TRUE DISASTER STORIES

This series features disasters both weather-related and man-made. Think of the READER'S DIGEST and you'll have the idea, except that the individual stories have postscripts reviewing the history of similar disasters throughout time. The railway and sea segments are particularly compelling. Reader Stephen Thorne has a friendly British voice and uses it effectively. He is sober and persuasive to fit the needs of the tales.
