YOUNG WIVES

This production is a marriage of storytellers. Olivia Goldsmith writes in detail of three women and their soon-to-be-estranged husbands. The crumbling relationships cause the women to lose their pride and places, and when they touch bottom, they hit back with the energy of Furies. The storyteller's mate is Alyssa Bresnahan, who keeps interested us through all the antics of our three heroines. Added to the pleasure of hearing her voice is her positive portrayal of all of the male voices. There is nothing gruff or scratchy about the sound. We get to make up our own minds about whom to hate.
