James Frangione offers a delightful performance as Bowser, a dog who was rescued from the pound by spunky Birdie Gaux. Frangione provides a medley of highly modulated voices to highlight characters' personalities--especially the story's villains--and to create colorful, natural-flowing dialogue. While the story's tone is usually light, Frangione heightens the moments of suspense through pacing and well-timed exclamations. Best of all is his portrayal of Bowser.
