NIGHT AFTER NIGHT

Seán Barrett is one of the best narrators of Rickman's books, and he doesn't disappoint with this story of the supernatural. Reality TV descends on Knap Hall to film B-list celebrities as they’re locked in for the night, hoping for ghostly visitors. Barrett skillfully presents the mix of skeptics and believers as violence ensues and escalates to murder. Listeners will meet several favorites from other Rickman books: shaman Cindy Mars-Lewis, American Grayle Underhill (with a spot-on accent), and the always grumpy phenomenologist, Marcus Bactin. Barrett perfectly conveys the mood of foreboding, occasional humor, and quotations from actual books about ghosts. A creepy listen—whether you believe in ghosts or not.
