MURDER SHOOTS THE BULL

Anne George's sixth in the Southern Sisters series finds Patricia Anne Hollowell, retired sexagenarian school teacher, and her much married older sister, Mary Alice, caught up in a chain of catastrophes that befall neighbors Mitzi and Arthur Pfizer. When Patricia Anne sees Arthur being cozy at the Hunan Hut with a strange woman, she can't believe her eyes. When the woman dies suddenly, Arthur is arrested for her murder. After someone tries to burn down the Pfizers's house, a frantic Mitzi comes to her for help. Ruth Ann Phimister gives a solid performance.
