New Mexico's Chaco Canyon holds layers of evidence to an ancient murder and fresh clues to a recent ritual killing. Bernadette Dunne describes artifacts and structures located at the scene to create a vivid picture of past and present Southwest culture. She narrates the story engagingly, creating voices for a range of characters as diverse as Anasazi warriors and Canadian anthropologists.
