IN SEARCH OF BLACK AMERICA

Journalist David Dent's aim is to present snapshots of Black America by profiling black Americans throughout the country. He desires to present more than the caricatures of politicians and the media. Narrator Dion Graham provides an excellent reading. The listener meets people of varying backgrounds from many regions of the U.S., and Graham provides a unique voice to each person, easily switching from one vocal characterization to the next.
