MCTOAD MOWS TINY ISLAND A Transportation Tale

Transportation- and vehicle-loving youngsters will hang on Richard Poe's every word once they realize that, as McToad goes about his Thursday chores, one splendid vehicle follows another--from lawnmower to truck to train to forklift--all the way to Tiny Island. Poe tantalizes young listeners with his leisurely pace, drawn-out words, and pregnant pauses. Kids will enjoy the suspense of the repetition until McToad finally gets to his lawn mowing at the far-off site.
