Maine folks and folklorists, sit up and take notice! This here performance is the dernest thing you ever did hear. It's all about that strange feller, Pamola, who lives atop Mt. Katahdin in the State o' Maine. Years back, Pamola was friends with a trail guide named Leroy Dudley, and what we know about Old Pamola comes through Roy. It's all been in a book before, but now you can hear it same as if Roy was tellin' you hisself. They are mighty good yarns, and John McDonald tells 'em fine.
