Three generations of African-American women are visited by spirits who help them come to terms with their own faults and promote the reconciliation of their family. Tina McElroy Ansa is the perfect narrator for her work. Her light Southern drawl is almost musical and carries the listener through each woman's point of view. Ansa's tone ranges from excited to tender as she carries each character through the life-changing events of a single weekend.
