CHOCOLATE FOR A WOMAN'S HEART

For the second in a series of "Chocolate" books, Allenbaugh has compiled romantic and inspirational stories from women around the world. Addressing both deeply committed and lost love, the stories have a common denominator of poetic longing, divine will and happy endings. The three narrators alternate reading the short stories representing African-American, European and Midwestern accents. One irritation is the two or three stories read in exaggerated Southern accents. Lyrical music relevant to the tales denotes the end of a side.
