GLUBBSLYME

Wilson gives the narrator more than a mouthful just to pronounce her title. But, as always, Sandi Toksvig more than meets the challenge. Rebecca has a fight with her best friend and walks into a witch's pond. While in there, she makes the acquaintance of Glubbslyme, a frog. Since he is hundreds of years old, Glubbslyme hilariously sprinkles his sentences with words like "desist," "lily-livered," and "daresay." Toksvig joyously adds zing to an outstanding text.
