THE HERETIC'S APPRENTICE

The arrival of a pilgrim from the Holy Land at the Abbey of St. Peter & St. Paul sets in motion both romance and intrigue. Once again, Brother Cadfael sorts things out. No surprises here, except in the details. But readers/listeners who pick up the next in this long running series aren't looking for surprises; they're returning to the tried and true. They won't be disappointed. Peters and Cadfael remain at the height of their powers, as does Patrick Tull, whose rich, well-seasoned voice has arguably become definitive for this popular series.
