CLASSIC RADIO PERFORMANCES

These are rare half-hour dramatizations from 1950’s English radio shows: “Jekyll and Hyde,” “The Sire de Maletroit’s Door,” “Markheim”and “The Suicide Club.” Crisp, mellifluous performances of lean, intelligent, suspenseful productions make these one-acts particularly enjoyable, despite their superficiality. With feline grace, Olivier hosts the series and plays key part--except in “Door,” which features the exciting voice of Donat. Light fun is in store for the discriminating listener.
