A FAMILY MAN

Gordon Griffith resonates with the emotions of Matt Webster, the emotional center of this novel. Matt's wife has abandoned him and their 4-year-old son, Josh, without any note or explanation. Griffith is superb in bringing Matt through the stages of disbelief, anger, sorrow, and recovery that Matt must deal with before he can start a new life with his son. No less believable are Griffith's voices for Josh and Matt's friends. Readers will enjoy the maelstrom of emotions that accompany Matt's journey in this uncommon take on an abandoned spouse. E.J.F.
